Andy & Charlotte’s Sun-Soaked Celebration at Bressingham Hall

Charlotte’s morning began with excitement and a touch of chaos—her bouquet had been left behind in the morning flurry, but was quickly retrieved just in time for the finishing touches. As she got ready in one of Bressingham Hall’s bright and airy prep spaces, I was there to capture those final quiet moments before everything unfolded.

Down in the historic oak-beamed High Barn, guests were already finding their seats. The ceremony was led by the groom’s brother, Tom—who added a perfect balance of humour and heartfelt storytelling. His speech was full of personal anecdotes, teasing remarks, and emotion, setting the tone for a day that felt entirely personal and completely unforgettable.

After the vows came the confetti… and so much of it that we found ourselves in the car park! With such a big crowd of family and friends, we needed all the space we could get to give Andy and Charlotte the full confetti moment they deserved. The atmosphere was pure joy—cheers, hugs, and colourful petals floating in the breeze.

Drinks were served in the sunny courtyard, where the vibe shifted to full celebration. With chilled Ibiza beats playing softly in the background, guests sipped, laughed, and soaked in the sunshine. This was one of those rare British summer days where everything just clicks—the weather, the music, the company.

As the guests enjoyed their drinks, we slipped away to make the most of Bressingham’s 17 acres of gardens. The venue’s incredible grounds—meadows, structured beds, hidden walkways—gave us the perfect setting for couple portraits and relaxed family group shots. No need for stiff posing here: Andy and Charlotte were totally themselves, and the photos speak for themselves.

Meanwhile, Carl, my second shooter, was capturing the day on video. Having a second creative eye alongside me meant we could cover more ground, more reactions, and more of those unscripted, fleeting moments. While I focused on photography, Carl was filming vows, glances, speeches and dancefloor moves in stunning cinematic style. It’s one of the best ways to ensure your wedding story is told in full—from both angles. Every smile, every moment, captured in both stills and motion.

As guests took their seats for dinner inside the marquee, the vibe shifted again—more emotional, more reflective. The speeches were packed with belly laughs and teary tributes, the kind of words you want to remember forever. The evening then kicked off in style with a DJ, live sax, and bongos turning the marquee into a full-blown party.

Before long, an impromptu conga line snaked its way through the dancefloor and out into the courtyard—a fitting finale to a day that was filled with spontaneity, joy, and connection. It’s those unscripted moments that make each wedding unique, and this one had plenty.
