Amy & Shane's Spring Wedding at The Tudor Barn, Belstead
Updated: Sep 22
Amy and Shane got married at The Tudor Barn in Belstead in the spring. It's just down the road from me, and a venue I know really well.
They booked photography and video. As well as their photos, they have a highlights film plus separate films of the ceremony and the speeches, so they can watch both back in full rather than just the best bits.

Why The Tudor Barn works so well
The Tudor Barn mixes an old timber-framed barn with a clean, modern finish, and it gets a lot of natural light inside. That makes a big difference for the ceremony and speeches, where you want faces lit well and photos that look natural. Outside there are around seven acres of informal wooded grounds, which give you plenty of different spots for portraits without going far from your guests.
Photos and film together
Photography and video work best when they're planned together, so the key moments are covered from both sides without anyone getting in the way. If you're weighing up whether to add video, have a look at my videography page.
